The concept of "Michi no Eki Toyohashi" is "Toyohashi's verandah that connects people and the town." They aim to be a roadside station where people, things, and experiences can be conveyed so that visitors can experience the charm of Toyohashi, such as its foods and agriculture.

There is also a kitchen studio (multipurpose room) in one corner of the building. Cooking classes and seminars using seasonal ingredients are also held, giving shape to connections with local people.

Not only in the facility, you can also participate and experience experience activities unique to Toyohashi. The coast near the Michi no Eki is also a mecca for surfing, and professional surfers give surfing lessons directly.

There is also an E-BIKE (electrically assisted bicycle) experience where you can experience nature while riding a bicycle. This is from 1,000 yen per hour, so you can enjoy cycling around the area and visiting nearby cafes.
