Kawaramachi, where the history of Gifu City remains
About 10 minutes north from Gifu Station by car. When you enter from the main street, you will find Kawaramachi-dori, a street lined with traditional buildings with lattice doors.
The area from south of Nagara Bridge to the west, the Minato-machi, Tamai-machi, and Motohama-machi areas are commonly known as Kawaramachi, a popular sightseeing spot where old rows of elegant merchant houses and town houses from the Edo and Meiji periods still remain. The area is home to tasteful Japanese-style houses and tasteful cafes and general merchandise stores that make the most of the atmosphere, making it a place where Gifu's charms come together.
Four years after its opening in October 2018, the exterior features a beautiful plain wood lattice. One of the features of Rustico is that there is no signboard except for the main store. There is no signboard for the 4th store either. A bright grid serves as a landmark.

Extreme simplicity! "Kaku Shokupan"
The finest bread made with carefully selected raw materials and manufacturing methods. First of all, it is a staple food, and it is a non-sweet meal bread that is thought to go well with anything. If you eat it as it is, it has a faint salty taste, and you can enjoy the original umami and flavor of wheat, as well as a chewy texture.
When I toasted it, I found that the bread was only lightly browned. However, when I touched it, I was surprised to find that the surface was crispy! When you break it open, the inside is moist, fluffy, and moist, and you can enjoy the double texture and rustic flavor.
Premium "croissant" produced by carefully selected ingredients and skilled skills
A superb croissant that combines beauty and taste. The layer after layer is just artistic and creates a real crispy texture. The more you chew, the richer the aroma of butter and the refined taste spread in your mouth.
The color and texture are outstanding! Rustico's famous quiche
Quiche as beautiful as art. The crispy pie crust with plenty of green and yellow vegetables is a light quiche that will delight your body.
ThisShin-zan plate used for lunch is another Rustico's speciality for serving delicious freshly baked bread. The projections on the plate allow the quiche to float and stay crispy.
