So, this time, we will introduce some souvenirs from Nagoya that we really recommend. Please use it as a reference for souvenirs and gifts.

Ebisen from "Keishindo"

The long-established shrimp cracker "Keishindo" is as well known as Bankaku Sohonpo. The "Sugata-yaki" shrimp crackers, which are made by carefully examining the baking temperature and other details, are truly a work of art. Every shrimp cracker is made with the utmost care, from the raw ingredients to the baked product, and is a masterpiece.

Souvenirs that are loved by men and women of all ages
"Sennari (Ryoguchiya Korekiyo)"

Sennari (Ryoguchiya Korekiyo)

Sennari (Ryoguchiya Korekiyo)

"Sennari" is a famous sweet that represents the long-established Japanese confectionery shop "Ryoguchiya Korekiyo" in Nagoya. Sennari, which has been loved for a long time since before the war, has a castella-like fluffy soft skin with Hideyoshi Taiko (Hideyoshi Toyotomi)'s horse mark and Sennari gourd branding.

“Azuki bean paste” is characterized by the flavor of carefully cooked Dainagon azuki beans and the softness of the skin. Flavorful "Matcha Bean Paste" using matcha from Nishio, Aichi Prefecture, which has excellent aroma and taste. "Beni-tsubuan" spreads the mellow taste of white azuki beans. You can enjoy three delicious flavors with a nostalgic and gentle sweetness.

It is a gift that everyone, young and old, can enjoy.

Packages are too Cute! "Sakusaku Nikki" (Bankaku Sohonpo)

Left: Sakusaku Nikki [Scallop] Right: Sakusaku Nikki[Shrimp]

Sakakusaku Nikki, with its cute package, is sold by Bankaku Sohonpo, which is well-known for "Yukari (shrimp rice crackers)," a standard souvenir of Nagoya. It looks and feels similar to "Yukari," but the small rice crackers are packed in a small package, making it a good souvenir to give away as a gift.

I especially like the scallop flavor. I enjoy the texture and find myself devouring the whole bag.

You can't Stop Eating! Tsushima's Specialty "Akada" (Sohonke Kadomasa)

Akada 540 yen

Sohonke Kadomasa has had a store in front of Tsushima Shrine for over 200 years. One of the sweets that I have always loved is the Tsushima specialty, "Akada". It is said that Kobo Daishi, the great Buddhist priest, not only introduced worshipping Yakushi Nyorai (Medicine Buddha), but also this confectionary.

The name "Akada" is derived from the Sanskrit word "akada," a pill that cures all illnesses. Rice flour dough seasoned with soy sauce and sesame seeds is rolled up and slowly fried in oil.

It is more hard to crunch than you might imagine, but the more you bite into it, the more flavorful and addictive it becomes. It is a handmade confectionary that has been loved throughout the ages.

The Website Went Down because of Professional Shogi Player Sota Fujii!
Chick Shaped Sweets "Piyorin"

"Piyorin" is a chick-shaped sweets made from Nagoya Cochin eggs. Since its creation in 2011, it has steadily gained fans and is now famous nationwide. The professional Shogi player Shota Fujii had it and became so popular that for a while the website's server was down.

The baked pudding, bavarois, chocolate, and sponge are all handmade. The face of Piyorin is also made by hand, and it takes about 7 hours to complete Piyorin.

In addition to the standard Piyorin, we also recommend the "Strawberry Piyonin" and "Chocolate Piyorin". Limited-time-only Piyorin are sometimes available! They are sure to be appreciated as souvenirs.

A unique blend of coffee to match the cypress-scented masu. The world's first cypress fragrant coffee with a new sensation.
