750m from Tajimi Station, about 10 minutes on foot. CAFE NEU! is located across the Showa Bridge over the Toki River. It's just the right distance for a walk. There is also parking for 6 cars.

A special seat where you can see the Toki River.

Curry changes daily. On this day, we ordered the "Curry Brothers (¥1,250)", which allows you to enjoy two types of curries. Choose 2 out of 4 different curries of the day, cabbage achar, Indian side dish, salad, and rice on one plate.

All the curries have strong spices, but you can really feel the umami of the ingredients such as vegetables and meat. It's moderately spicy, so it's easy to eat even if you're new to spice curry.

蒲郡に行ったら、絶対に食べたい!
「SUNDAY SPICE(サンデースパイス)」

Speaking of popular spice curry in Gamagori, it is "SUNDAY SPICE".

It has long been one of our favorite curry restaurants as well.

There are various kinds of curry such as pork, chicken, spare ribs, etc. Whenever we visit, we always can't decide which one to order and end up ordering the MIX Curry Katsu Curry (medium-hot).

The Fukujinzuke is homemade, and the cutlets are crispy and very tasty! Gamagori is a bit far from Nagoya, but it is worth the trip!

"Veg and spice om om om" is a 115-year-old folk house cafe located on the old highway in Tokoname City where the old townscape remains.

Om om om's recommendation is "Amma's Curry." Amma means "mother" in Sri Lankan. This curry is a recreation of the taste of Amma's curry that the owner has eaten while traveling around India and Sri Lanka with her family. It is cooked with six different tastes (sweet, salty, spicy, sour, bitter, and astringent) and good quality vegetable oil.

Be sure to try a cup of coffee as well, which is hand-roasted by the owner.
