A power spot in the middle of Nagoya "Nagoya Shrine"|Marunouchi
Since it is next to Nagoya Toshogu Shrine, we also visited Nagoya Shrine! The deities enshrined here are Susanoo no Kami, a Japanese mythological deity, and Kushinada Hime no Kami, a goddess who is associated with Susanoo no Kami.
In the Edo period, the annual Tenno Festival was said to be one of the three major festivals in Nagoya, along with the Toshogu Festival at Nagoya Toshogu Shrine and the Wakamiya Festival at Wakamiya Hachiman Shrine.
Goshuin is available at the shrine office just to the right of the hall of worship. The chief priest filled the book with red seals and wrote them down in his expert handwriting.
It is interesting to see the thousand different brush strokes and seals at each temple and shrine as you make your goshuin rounds. There are times when the priest may not be available, so if you want to be sure of getting one, please call in advance to confirm.

"Miwa Shrine", a shrine of happiness healed by rabbits|Osu
Miwa Shrine is a shrine in Osu, Nagoya City where the god of marriage is enshrined. There is a Kusunoki tree, estimated to be 450 years old, in the precincts.
Good relationships include not only relationships between men and women, but also family relationships, friendship relationships, work relationships, and school relationships.
It is said that if you touch the "happy rabbit" in the precincts of the temple, it will relieve pain in the area you have touched.
You can get a goshuin at the shrine office. The goshuin stamps designed by female chief priests spread by word of mouth as being cute, and even on weekdays many people visit the temple in search of goshuin stamps.
There are limited goshuin stamps depending on the season and month, and there are always 5 to 6 types available. Prices range from 300 yen to 1,000 yen, depending on the design.
On this day as well, I waited for an hour to receive the red stamp. However, you can get a numbered ticket, so we recommend taking a stroll around Osu eating and shopping while you wait. Don't worry, even if it's past the writing time, you can pick it up by 17:00.

The family temple of the Oda family, Banshoji, located in Osu Shopping Arcade|Osu
Banshoji is a temple with a history of over 470 years located in Osu Shopping Arcade. It is also known that the principal image is the eleven-faced Kanzeon Bodhisattva, and has a deep connection with Sengoku warlords such as Nobunaga Oda and Ieyasu Tokugawa.
Originally, it was built as a Bodhisattva temple for the Oda family on the south side of Nagoya Castle. Later, it was relocated to its current location when Nagoya Castle was built. It has been deeply worshiped as the red seal temple of the Owari Tokugawa Family.
Ieyasu Tokugawa was sent as a hostage to Yoshimoto Imagawa at the age of six, and it is said that he stayed at this temple until the age of nine.
The karakuri dolls, known as a specialty of Banshoji, are also a must-see.
It is performed four times a day at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, and 18:00 in front of the main hall of Banshoji Temple. (Cancelled in case of rain)
At Banshoji, you can get 6 to 7 types of stamps plus seasonal stamps. The names of different Buddhas are written in ink, so please visit the Buddha whose seal you want to receive before receiving it.
On this day, I received a goshuin stamp of the principal image of Banshoji, the eleven-faced Kannon. This is a two-page spread type, but there is also a goshuin that is only on one side.
Japan's three major Kannon "Osu Kannon "|Osu
Finally, we visited Osu Kannon. The official name is Kitanosan Shinpukuji Hoshoin. It has been popularly called "Osu Kannon" since ancient times.
Along with Asakusa Kannon and Tsu Kannon, it is also one of Japan's three major Kannon temples. In addition, it houses valuable cultural properties such as Japan's oldest manuscript of Kojiki, which is a national treasure, Masakadoki, which is designated as an important cultural property of the country, and the "Osu Bunko", one of the three classic collections.
Goshuin can be obtained at the temple office, not at the main hall. There is a sign on the right hand side of the main hall that says goshuin, so if you follow the sign and go down the stairs, you will find it.
The goshuin is written "Daihiden. The handwriting on the red seal is also very beautiful. In addition, three other types of goshuin are available: "Tokai Sanjuroku Fudoson Sacred Ground No. 10," "Nagoya Seven Deities of Good Luck," and "Nagoya 21 Daishi Sacred Ground No. 1!

There are several other goshuin available in Osu, so please check them out.
We spent half a day on this red seal tour and was surprised at how many we could collect in Nagoya City alone. Depending on the location or season, there may be a line of people waiting in line, so please check in advance.
Finally, goshuin is not a stamp rally, so be sure to visit the shrine before you receive it. Please try going around the red stamps! We would like to continue collecting goshuin.
