Since we were hungry, we decided to have lunch at the observation restaurant "Nature".

Nature, which opened on July 11, 2018 (Wednesday), is a popular restaurant where you can enjoy a leisurely meal surrounded by nature while looking out over the Ise Bay.

Since we were there, we had the famous Gozaisho Curry Udon. The spicy, glutinous Ise udon noodles and curry intertwined with each other are the best! The topping is a tender pork cube, which is also very tasty.

It is so popular that some people visit the restaurant just for this. I, too, have become a fan.

The only ropeway museum in Japan

Lastly, we went to Japan's only ropeway museum on the 3rd floor of Sanjo Koen Station. This is an exhibition facility where you can learn about the structure and history of the ropeway.

You can see valuable materials that you can rarely touch, such as two types of ropes that support the gondola and an anemometer that protects the safety of passengers.

Gozaisho Ropeway

The Gozaisho Ropeway was born in 1959. For 60 years since its opening as the dream vehicle of the Showa era, it has continued to carry the dreams and hopes of many people.

You can also learn about the history of the Gozaisho Ropeway at the Ropeway Museum.

Treasure goods from the time, which cannot be seen today, were also on display. One of the great attractions of this museum is its full retro feel.
