Osu Specialty! Taiwanese Baked Bao "Pao Pao Tei"

Paopaotei

exterior

Pao Pao Tei is a well-known restaurant that serves Chinese steamed buns that faithfully reproduce the authentic taste of the country. After experiencing a culture shock when the owner ate authentic Taiwanese steamed buns, he trained at a Taiwanese food stall, Daishanghai Senbao, for a year and a half.

After that, the owner received permission from the main store to open a new store, and Pao Pao Tei started as a sister store.

It's piping hot just by holding it in your hand.

The skin is made on the spot at the store, and there is plenty of hot and juicy meat juice inside.

Can you see it? The generous amount of gravy is still overflowing. The chewy skin and well-seasoned bean paste are exquisite. The bottom part is baked, so the crispy and fragrant texture is irresistible.

This is also a gem that you want to try it when you go to Osu.

There are 2 types of black bean paste and Naruto Kintoki sweet potato + seasonal taiyaki. The skin is thin and crispy, and the inside is filled with red bean paste all the way to the tail.

Takosaki

Takosaki is a popular takoyaki restaurant located in Osu Shopping Arcade of Nagoya. The outside dough is chewy and the inside is soft and delicious! Be prepared to wait an hour on Saturdays and Sundays, as there are long lines. However, the takoyaki here is what makes you want to eat even if you wait in line.

Since I was a student, I have always eaten it when I went to Osu.
Please check it!
