Check the route on the park map!
The park is mainly divided into the "Flower Garden Area," "Animal Area," "Food and Souvenir Area," and "Handmade Experience Area". The park is very large, so it is best to choose your walking route smoothly by checking the opening hours of the experience or event you are looking for.
A treasure trove of great spots! To the Flower Garden Area
The Flower Garden Area, which boasts an area of approximately 4.5 hectares, is divided into four major flower zones, which are decorated with seasonal flowers and greenery.
The first place I visited was the “Church Flower Garden,” which has an impressive church that shines in the colorful Sun Patiens flower garden. A photo spot is also provided, so you can take pictures of the beauty of the flowers and the church from the best position.
You can enter the church. It is said that ringing the bell at the entrance will bring happiness. The sound of the bells ringing in the flower garden is very romantic.
Across from the church, we found a photo spot where you can take pictures with the "Northern Lights Flower Garden" in the background. The round shape of the kochia is cute!
The "Little Church Flower Garden" near the church is also a hidden photo spot! You can walk among colorful flowers such as cockscomb in full bloom.
A Road Train that makes a leisurely tour of the park. Two cars, red and green, run, and you can ride for 300 yen per person. The scenery of a retro road train running through a field of flowers is like a page in a picture book.
*Children under the age of 3 ride for free
"Rainbow Flower Garden" with beautiful gradation of marigolds. Flowers of various colors, such as salvia and sampatunia, draw curved lines, just like a rainbow.
Hida Beef BBQ while watching the superb view!
After enjoying the beautiful scenery, have a BBQ lunch at “Barbecue House Aji Hiroba”! Seating is free, and tools are always available, so you can come empty-handed.
Purchase the ingredients that line up in the showcase at the entrance. From the set menu, there are plenty of single items such as Hida beef and Okumino kojidori. This time, I ordered the "Bokka Set" (3,300 yen), which includes Kuroge Wagyu beef and pork loin with vegetables.
BBQ started with a fellow writer who accompanied me! We grilled meat and vegetables while feeling the cool breeze of the plateau and the scent of greenery. Operating the stove is easy and effortless!
We were blessed with good weather, and we were able to clearly see Mt. Dainichi and Mt. Hakusan from the large windows.
The taste of Kuroge Wagyu beef and pork loin is exceptional while enjoying the view of nature! The Japanese black beef is melt-in-your-mouth tender. The pork loin is juicy with a light texture, but the more you chew it, the more flavorful it becomes! We enjoyed a luxurious gourmet meal with a spectacular view from noon.
Fluffy animals will soothe your heart!
Go to the "Animal Area" where you can interact with various animals such as alpacas, sheep, and horses. You will be soothed by the sight of the animals leisurely grazing on the vast ranch.
Get up close to the animals! The horse's mischievous tongue-licking expression can also be captured at close range.
The farm raises Jersey cows. We also conduct milking and feeding experiences. There is a big size spoon for feeding jersey cows!

To "Alpaca House" where alpacas live. Her hair was freshly shaved, so she had a slightly smart form, but her round eyes and laid-back demeanor made me feel warm.
Try feeding experience!
In the animal contact area, you can experience feeding animals at any time! You can purchase food at the snack counters set up in about two places in the area.
This is a senbei (rice cracker) for sheep! The snacks section is unmanned, so put 100 yen in the box and take it out yourself.
Experience feeding sheep in the ranch's "Senbei Area"! It's so cute how it looks like it's sticking its head out of the fence and approaching!
You can enter and leave the ranch freely, and you can interact with the animals at close range. Gently touch the back of the sheep that approached. It's fluffy to the touch and so soft that you'll want to touch it forever...!!
The "Animals Touch" event, where visitors can interact with guinea pigs, rabbits, and other small, fluffy animals, is held every day. There are also many other events where you can play with the animals, such as horseback riding and mini horseback riding lessons.
Follow the rules and have fun with the animals.
