Rice store's antenna shop "CASA"

Agricultural experience

During the harvest season, it became so popular that a year's worth of reservations were sold out. On June 4th, 2016, we opened an antenna shop, CASA, to create an opportunity for customers to try the rice before actually purchasing it.

JO: "Even before we opened the shop, we were holding agricultural experience events about four times a year to create opportunities for people to try the actual food. However, it was only for people who could come there on that day. That's why we opened this antenna shop, to create a place where more people can try our rice at any time."

Even children who don't like rice will like it. Rice ball of CASA

miso soup of the day
The miso soup changes daily. On this day, it was barley miso, with aosa seaweed, nameko mushrooms, deep-fried tofu, and green onions. It is full of ingredients and has a hearty flavor.

CASA's food menu is only for this "rice ball set". The set includes salted rice balls, miso soup of the day, pickles pickled in pesticide-free rice bran bed, and soybeans as a refreshment. A set that allows you to enjoy the taste of rice.

JO: "The first time my wife made a rice ball with rice from Nakayama Farm, I was impressed by how good the rice was! I grew up as the grandson of a rice farmer, so I have eaten a lot of different kinds of rice, and I grew up being picky about rice, but I was surprised at how good rice tasted! I wanted to offer only simple dishes that can be reproduced at home. That is why CASA's food menu is only this set. If you try it and like it, we'd be happy if you could incorporate it into your daily meals.

All CASA rice balls are made by Minori.

Minori: "My husband says he was impressed, but at first I was just like, 'Really?' When my children's friends came to visit, I often made rice balls for them. Then, even children who didn't like rice would eat them. Later, when I called the child's mother, she said, 'What? My child ate rice? And with just salt?' She was very surprised. It's nice to know that even children who don't like rice can eat it like that. People who come to our restaurant often tell us that they eat a lot of rice when they come here.
