Gero Onsen Gassho Village, where you can experience the original scenery of Japan

This time, we will introduce a recommended spot in Gero Onsen, "Gero Onsen Gassho Village".

It is a tourist facility that reproduces a village with 10 gassho-zukuri buildings, centering on the Nationally Designated Important Cultural Property "Former House of the Oto Family," which was relocated from Shirakawa-go. Consisting of two zones, “Gassho-no-Sato” and “Saijiki-no-Mori”, you can enjoy not only the scenery and buildings, but also gourmet food from the Hida region, pottery painting, and pottery workshops.

This time, we chose this kimono, which was also worn by Naomi Watanabe in a TV recording. You can also borrow a tabi (socks), bag, geta (Japanese clogs), and stole, so you can enjoy walking around in kimono with nothing! (You will need to do your own hair-set.)

You can go in and out of the village freely, so you can take a walk in the hot spring town as well as Gassho Village. Now let's go to the village!
