[Film camera in hand] "LOVERS NAGOYA vol.01" in hand (Autoboy2 edition)

Hello. I'm Kanae, a photographer.
For the third film camera walk article, I took a walk with "LOVERS NAGOYA vol.01" in hand!
"LOVERS NAGOYA" is centered around Mr. Kato, the representative of the Great Nagoya Tours Executive Committee, who has been interviewed before. This Nagoya guidebook was created with the idea of "creating a book of 'favorites' rather than a guidebook of 'specialties' of Nagoya.

The area you can walk around is summarized in one book, so it's perfect for a camera walk!

Well, the camera I use this time is a compact film camera called "CANON Autoboy2" purchased at Camera City! This camera is an excellent one that runs on AA batteries. I use it while thinking that it is somehow similar to a QuickSnap.

Let's go for a walk!

LOVERS NAGOYA

The day started with morning breakfast. The first place I headed to was Coffee Specialty Shop Ran.

The menu is written at the entrance.

I sat on the second floor. The sun was just coming in and it was a lovely place.

I ordered the "Ran special". A popular cheese toast and drink set.
Fluffy toast with cheese was very delicious.

I decided to leave Ran and hang out until noon.

This time, "LOVERS NAGOYA" covers Marunouchi and Fushimi.

This area is a business district, so it is crowded with people wearing suits.
As you walk, there are arcades with lots of retro signboards, as well as fashionable cafes.

Some business people take a break at Oshio-ya, one of Nagoya's most popular okonomiyaki restaurants.

After taking a walk, it's time for lunch.
I decided to eat the popular tempura rice bowl at Senriki.

Senriki's lunch can be chosen from [Kakiage Tempura bowl, Shrimp Tempura bowl, and Whimsical bowl].
I chose salt flavor of shrimp tempura bowl. The butter was crispy and the shrimp was plump and very delicious.

After eating lunch, it's a snack time!
There are many restaurants listed on "LOVERS NAGOYA", but for this time's snack, go to Murasakiya.

When it comes to mizu-yokan in Nagoya, Murasakiya comes to mind. Although that's what is said, I've never actually eaten one. So I entered the store with excitement that I could finally eat it! Here, you can not only take it home, but also buy Japanese sweets and matcha as a set and eat in the store.

A set of yokan and matcha.

The yokan was very fresh and melted quickly. It was very sweet and delicious as expected.

Then I came to Cotton Building.

The Cotton Building is one of the vacant buildings in Choja-machi, which has long flourished as a textile wholesale district. It is a place for exchange with the hope that "like cotton, threads of various genres will intertwine to nurture an interesting culture."

When I visited, there was a collage exhibition and an exhibition by Hiroyuki Ohashi.

Here I was drawn in by Hiroyuki Ohashi's paintings and bought a book.
On this day, the staff who was at the reception of the exhibition asked Mr. Ohashi to draw a portrait.

The last stop on today's camera walk is MITTS COFFEE STAND.

I was already full, so I ordered coffee and opened up my computer to answer the calls that had accumulated during the walk.

That's how this walk ended this time.
I took a walk with "LOVERS NAGOYA" and my camera in hand.
In fact, it took me a while to write this article, and I heard that the second edition of "LOVERS NAGOYA" has been published! (Applause)

The second edition is "Nagoya International Center". I need to wander around the area, too.
And I have to write an article without leaving a period next time...! ! !
Thank you for reading.
