A concept cafe where you can spend time with flowers

When you go inside, you will see colorful dried flowers hanging from the ceiling, and you will feel like you are in another world.

I was fascinated by the vivid statice.

The dry flower decoration is handled by the dried flower specialty store "Sumire Lyrical" next door. The dried flower interior is displayed on the table and on the wall, so you can enjoy it up close from any seat.

They also sell dried flowers and miscellaneous goods in the store.

In addition to coffee beans and tea that will enrich your time at home, we also sell accessories. Recommended for yourself or as a gift.

In the back of the store, there are CD collections selected by the owner. Inside the store where comfortable jazz was playing, people enjoyed their own time, such as those who enjoyed reading and those who opened their lap-tops and worked.

Special donuts fried in-store

“Our donuts are not too sweet, so they taste just right when paired with coffee,” says Satoshi Matsuzaki, the store manager. Since its launch in 2019, I have worked at this restaurant and been involved in the development of the menu.

We asked about the background of the birth of “Lyrical Coffee Donut”.

Mr. Matsuzaki: "It all started when the owner of Fuyuka planned to open a cafe in the property next to the dried flower shop. On the other hand, I had a dream of owning my own cafe.

– Why did you decide to work with donuts?

Mr. Matsuzaki: "First of all, it was premised on using coffee as a base. I thought about compatibility with coffee first, so I decided on donuts."

There are always 13 to 14 types of donuts on display at the store.

– Please tell us about your commitment to making donuts.

Mr. Matsuzaki: “Our donuts have a simple taste using milk, eggs, and flour.

The donut dough is tightly packed, so it doesn't absorb oil easily, and the amount of water is adjusted. The amount of water and the ratio of flour are carefully adjusted, so you can enjoy a fluffy texture that is not oily. The dough is prepared the day before and left to rest overnight, and the next morning, the fried donuts are brought out to the store. ”

A flower donut decorated with edible flowers was born as a donut unique to a flower shop. This is a standard item, but the edible flowers are purchased from the market, so the flowers change depending on the season.

Wrapping with a mini dried flower bouquet

Many people buy them in bulk as souvenirs. The best variety is available at 11:00 when the store opens. You can also reserve it on the phone.
