If you want a Tokyo Station limited edition souvenir, we recommend "Tokyo Okashi Land" on the first basement floor of Tokyo Station Ichibangai! It is a collection of antenna stores of three major confectionery makers: Glico-Ya Kitchen (Ezaki Glico), Calbee Plus (Calbee), and Morinaga's Okashi na Okashiya-san (Morinaga Seika).

The almond chocolate “PREMIAGE” is something you should definitely get at “Guriko-ya Kitchen”. Almond chocolate roasted and seasoned in the store is a limited quantity product only at Kitchen Tokyo Station.

You will be amazed at the different flavors of fried and roasted! The almond flavor is well pronounced and goes well with deep coffee and drinks.

Calbee Plus recommends Kamaage Chips Nihonbashi Katsuo (bonito) Dashi and Salt Flavor. This is a collaboration product with "Ninben," a dried bonito dashi specialty store in Nihonbashi, Tokyo, established in Genroku 12. It is sold exclusively at the Calbee Plus Tokyo Station Store, making it a perfect souvenir!

Kama-age Chips" are potato chips that are made by slowly and carefully frying thickly sliced potatoes to give them a crispy, hard texture and a potato flavor that is more enjoyable the more you chew them. The chips are made with Ninben's dried bonito flakes powder, and the mild flavor of the dashi broth is superb.

Sakakaku Sohonpo, a shrimp cracker store with its head office in Aichi Prefecture, has been in business for more than 130 years. They have local seafood rice crackers only available in Tokyo!

That is "Tokyo Shiba Ebi-ten" made with shiba prawns. Shiba prawns were caught in large quantities in Shibaura in Tokyo Bay during the Edo period (1603-1867), hence the name. This rice cracker is made of such shiba prawns in the kakiage style of Edo cuisine.

"Tokyo Peasen" by Eitaro Sohonpo

"Peasen" is a popular confectionery in Tokyo made from Japanese glutinous rice and peanuts. Originally sold by Ginza Edoichi, the product took the world by storm, and was taken over in 1999 by Eitaro Sohonshiki, a long-established Japanese confectionary store in Nihonbashi, and continues to be a popular product.

The "Peasen Tokyo Noren Meguri" series was created by bringing together long-established brands that have been in business for over 100 years. These special peasenes are made by adding traditional flavors such as "Aosa (sea lettus) Peasenes" from "Yamamotoyama," a long-established seaweed and tea company, and "Katsuobushi (bonito) Peasenes" from "Ninben," a long-established dried bonito flakes company.

The crispy texture will not stop once you start eating. The scent of peanuts spreading softly whets the appetite. Especially if you like alcohol, please give it a try!
