The long-established cafe "Nishi Asahi" in Endoji has been reborn. "Cafe Restaurant & Guest House Nagonoya"

​Nagonoya is a cafe, restaurant, and guest house located in the Endoji shopping district.

Nishi-Asahi, a long-established coffee shop that has been loved for over 80 years in Endoji shopping district, was reborn as a cafe restaurant and guest house in 2015. The 2nd floor is used as a lodging facility, and the 1st floor is used as a cafe/restaurant, and is bustling with people every day.

Speaking of Nagonoya's signboard menu, it is "egg sandwich". This is a specialty menu from the days of the coffee shop "Nishi-Asahi", which was revived from the voice of the local people, "If you do it in the same place, please bring it back!"

Make wine more casual! "commone wine & eats"

The wine bar "commone" opened in July 2021.

The theme is "Tokoname Winery's Test Kitchen, where Tokoname Winery's winemakers pursue a true marriage with wine. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy dishes perfectly matched with wines produced by Tokoname Winery Neighborhood in a casual atmosphere. Wine is a beverage with a strong image of being reserved, but commone has neither a dress code nor a charge. Therefore, you can drop by on your way home from work or while shopping on your days off.

A new  way to enjoy tea: "mirume CHA-NOVATIVE Cafe & Store"

"Mirume Shinryoku Sabo" opened in the Nagono area on May 1, 2021, taking over the name of the "Shinryoku Sabo Nagoya Branch", a cafe near Nagoya Station where you can enjoy Ise tea.

Based on the concept of “creating a new standard of tea”, we are developing not only cafes but also tea leaf proposals and sweets using Ise tea.

In the café space on the 2nd floor, you can enjoy elegant tea in a teapot. You can choose from two types of tea, Kokomachi and Tamaryokucha, and you can drink more than three brews, so you can enjoy the change in the taste of the tea that changes little by little.

Niku no Maruko is a meat shop that has been loved since 1948.

One of the most popular gourmet foods at Maruko Meat Shop is freshly deep-fried croquettes! It is a traditional taste that has been passed down from the first generation. Even without sauce, the meat and potatoes have a strong flavor.

Please note that the frying time is limited to [11:00-12:20] and [15:30-17:50]!

"Coffee New Poppy" where you can taste good old coffee

​Café New Poppy opened at the end of January 2019 in Shikemichi, where Nagoya's history is still alive. It is a place where you can enjoy home-roasted coffee and morning breakfast in the space of a good old-fashioned pure coffee shop. Its unique style of food menu, such as "Poppy's Curry Rice" made with coffee rice and "Teppan Ogura Toast" , is also attracting attention.

This shop is run by the second-generation owner of Cafe Poppy, which has been in business at Nagoya station for nearly 30 years since 1977.
