“Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium”
“Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium“is located at the Port of Nagoya Garden Pier.
Dolphin performances are held in one of the largest pools in Japan. Public training of orcas, which are currently kept at only two locations in Japan. The Kuroshio Aquarium features a school of 35,000 Japanese sardines swimming in the Kuroshio Tank, where visitors can encounter 50,000 marine creatures of about 500 species.
Not to be missed are the dolphin performances that take place in one of the largest pools in Japan. The main pool is 60 meters wide, 30 meters deep, and 12 meters deep, with a stadium that can hold up to 3,000 people, making it one of the largest in Japan. The dolphins’ speedy performances are a sight to behold.
It is basically an indoor aquarium, making it easy to visit even on rainy days!

“The Antarctic Icebreaker Ship Fuji” served for 18 years as an icebreaker for Antarctic observation.

In addition, the “Museum of Antarctica” is an exhibition room built in a renovated helicopter hangar.
