[Tsukuji, Tokyo] Enjoy Sake and a Cypress Bath at the Hotel "TSUKI Tokyo"

Hotel TSUKI Tokyo opened in Tsukiji, Tokyo in April 2019.

The concept of the hotel is "to become a Japan connoisseur". The hotel is full of attractions to experience Japanese culture, such as guest rooms with hinoki baths, private baths filled with the fragrance of Aomori hiba (cypress), and a sake bar where guests can compare famous sake from all over the country.

This time, I actually stayed at "TSUKI Tokyo". I would like to report with plenty of photos.

① Relax in a private cypress bath
② Sake bar where you can taste famous sake from all over the country
③ Good location within walking distance to Tsukiji Outer Market

Excellent access, about 3 minutes on foot from the station!

TSUKI Tokyo is located in Tsukiji, Tokyo. It is only a 3-minute walk from Exit 4 of Tsukiji Station on the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and a 4-minute walk from Exit 1 of Shintomicho Station on the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.

The Ginza area is also within walking distance!

The stylish exterior won the 2019 Good Design Award.

Lineup of sake from all over Japan!
"Sake-Bar TABLE TSUKI"

The sake bar “Sake-Bar TABLE TSUKI” is located just inside the entrance. They carefully select unique sake born from the climate of various parts of Japan.

During the tea time from 10:00 to 18:00, you can enjoy special green tea, black tea, and matcha ice cream.

Seasonal limited recommended sake! I will introduce it slowly later, but you can also enjoy sake in the guest room.

Rooms with cypress baths are also available! Japanese modern room

There are 31 rooms in total, 5 types. The 3 types of Premier Double Bedroom, Premier Twin Bedroom, and Deluxe Twin Bedroom come with cypress baths!

This time I stayed in a "Premier Twin Bed Room". The bed made by a Japanese manufacturer, towels from Imabari, teapot and teacups from Mino-yaki, etc., show the commitment to made-in-Japan in every part of the room.

The bed and living space are well separated from the bathroom, making it perfect for long stays!

Here is the cypress bath that you are interested in!

It's a luxury to be able to enjoy a cypress bath as much as you like, surrounded by the scent of wood.

Also mini bar service. You can drink mini drinks in the refrigerator for free. There are times when you want a little drink in your room.

Mini beer after enjoying the cypress bath was great!

Private bath for guests only
"Private bath YUUYA"

The most attractive feature of "TSUKI Tokyo" is the private bath "Private bath YUUYA", which is exclusively reserved for guests. There are two types, "OBORO" and "KASUMI", and this time we went to "KASUMI"!

You can enjoy the private bath for 45 minutes. The staff will unlock the door at the reservation time, so it was convenient that I didn't have to go to the front desk.

*Advance reservations are required. Reservation plans with private baths are also available.

As you enter, you will be greeted with soothing music and the rich scent of cypress. Amenities and towels are also provided, so you can come empty-handed!

I was surprised to find myself saying, "Is this really inside a hotel?" I was surprised to see such a luxurious space. The bathtub made of Aomori cypress leaves is very spacious. Even two adults could comfortably soak in the bathtub. This time, I had it all to myself.

A clock is installed in the room, so you can quickly check the remaining time. This is a great point!

After taking a bath, go to Yuagari-dokoro YUAGARI, a resting space that can only be used by users of the private bath. Drinks are available here for free.

Relax and take a break while reading a book in the library.

Irresistible for sake lovers
Comprehensive room service

The menu of the sake bar "Sake-Bar TABLE TSUKI" introduced earlier can also be ordered as room service. All kinds of famous sake from all over the country!

I couldn't decide what to order, so I ordered the "Comparison Set (Two Sake)" this time. The set comes with snacks perfect for a quick drink. It also comes with a sake introduction card, which is a nice touch.
Of course, beer, shochu and wine are also available.

Morning breakfast at Tsukiji Outer Market!

Speaking of fun in the Tsukiji area, morning breakfast at the outer market!

About 5 minutes walk from the hotel. It is precisely because of this location that you can enjoy a quick breakfast at Tsukiji before check-out.

By the way, for those who prefer breakfast in the hotel, there is also a bento-style breakfast service. You can enjoy the nori (seaweed) bento of Tsukiji's "Hake-joyu Nori-ben Yamanobori" in your room. (reservation required by 19:00 the day before)

It's a compact hotel with 31 rooms, but it's perfect for a stay-in-home stay because it has a relaxing private bath, a sake bar where you can enjoy room service, and breakfast that you can eat in your room. Access is also good, so it can be used as a base for travel.

Recommended for those who want to spend their time at the hotel in a relaxed manner!
