"Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium"
Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium is divided into a South Building and a North Building, and boasts the largest total floor area in Japan.
Dolphin Performance
There are only two aquariums in Japan where you can see killer whales, including Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium. The precious killer whales are a must-see!
" Port of Nagoya Public Aquarium" is located at the Port of Nagoya Garden Wharf.
The aquarium offers the dolphin performances in one of the largest pools in Japan. Also, there are public training of killer whales, which are currently kept in only two locations in Japan. Visitors can encounter as many as 50,000 marine creatures of about 500 species. A school of about 35,000 Japanese pilchards can be seen swimming in the Kuroshio large tank!
What you can not miss are the dolphin performances that take place in one of the largest pools in Japan. The main pool is 60 meters wide, 30 meters deep, and water depth is up to 12 meters, with a stadium that can accommodate 3,000 people, making it one of the largest in Japan. The dolphins' speedy performance is breathtaking.
It's basically a tour inside the building, so it's a nice point that it's easy to visit even on rainy days!

"Takeshima Aquarium"
Takeshima Aquarium is a municipal aquarium located in Takeshima-cho, Gamagori City, Aichi Prefecture. Since it's run by the city, the price is quite reasonable at 500 yen for adults (200 yen for elementary and junior high school students).
About 4,500 creatures of about 500 species are on display at all times in the museum. About 100 kinds of deep-sea fish caught by local fishermen off the coast of Mie and Wakayama are introduced, including the rare Steller's sea crocodile shark and Japanese spider crab.

"Nagoya Minato Tsutaya Bookstore" opened in "LaLaport Nagoya Minato AQULS". A lifestyle bookstore where you can relax and enjoy reading with a cup of coffee.
"Tsutaya Bookstore" has a different concept for each store. "Nagoya Minato Tsutaya Bookstore" is based on the theme of "WITH FAMILY" and has three genres of "outing", "childcare" and "car", and proposes time to enjoy with family.

"Minna no Mori Gifu Media Cosmos"
It is a complex facility "Minna no Mori Gifu Media Cosmos" in Gifu Prefecture. It consists of "three bases": Gifu City Central Library, Civic Activity Exchange Center, and Minna no Gallery. Since its opening in 2015 (July 2015), it has been a hot spot with more than 1.2 million visitors in one year.
